Day 14 & 15: Chilling in Evanston (North of Chicago)

Day 12: Morris to Grand Forks – change of plans
I had not slept very much and felt pretty awful. I just wanted to get out of this place. I needed to get across the border into the US and reach Grand Forks where my colleague Barbara had kindly reserved a rental car for me to speed up my trip to Chicago and Detroit.
Day 11: Winnipeg to Morris – caught in the rain
When I was cycling on the narrow lane, I started to rain and I got almost run over by huge trucks several times and could only save myself by jumping off the road into the curbside each time.
